Pre-registration is now closed. day-of registration is available with a $15 fee.

Update for Pre-Registrants 4/26/2023: Unfortunately, we will not be able to have number pick-up at Trek this year due to staffing issues. All numbers will be available at the registration table on the day of the race. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Information about day-of registration:

Day-of reg available with $15 surcharge. NO CASH at day-of registration: only credit cards, PayPal and Venmo available.

IF PLANNING TO REGISTER DAY-OF AT THE BERKELEY HILLS ROAD RACE: GET THERE EARLY. WE ANTICIPATE MANY DAY-OF RACERS THIS YEAR. Registration at the Berkeley Hills Road Race will open at 7:00 AM. We suggest that any day-of registrants in the first staging time (Men's Pro 1/2/3, Men's Open 3 + Collegiate A, Men's Master's 35+ 1/2/3, Women’s Long Race) arrive before 7:30 AM.

Racers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sign waivers. If this is an issue, please contact prestonmui+omnium@gmail.com.

Berkeley Streets Criterium

Sunday, April 30, 2023 | Course

After a great debut year, the criterium returns to a fun, technical course around the semicircle lawn and traffic circle on the west end of the University of California, Berkeley campus.

We are excited to announce that TREK will be the title sponsor of the 2023 Berkeley Omnium. Besides supporting the race generally, look out for their mechanics at the races should you need a last-minute adjustment. Packet pick-up will take place at Trek Berkeley.

Pre-registration will close on Sunday, 4/23/2022. Day-of surcharge for registration is $15. Please read the race information packet below for information on the course, fields, and race times. Please contact Preston Mui at prestonmui+omnium@gmail.com with any inquiries. See you soon.

FREE KID’S RACE AT THE CRITERIUM

There will be a FREE KID’S RACE at 11:45 at the Berkeley Streets Criterium on Sunday, April 30th. Bring your kiddos and send them around the course for a lap and take some pictures! Show up to the registration tent on Oxford and Center before 11:30 to enter your child.

In Support of Local High School Mountain Bikers

The Berkeley Omnium is also a fundraiser for the local NICA teams at Berkeley High School, El Cerrito High School, Albany High School and and Oakland Composite. A portion of each entry fee goes DIRECTLY to the NICA teams and helps make cycling accessible for young student-athletes. Last year’s event raised $10,000 for the teams.
