Racing for the Future: Berkeley Omnium, Zealios, and East Bay NICA

The Berkeley Omnium is more than just a race weekend. It’s a celebration of community-driven bike racing in the Bay Area. From seasoned racers to first-time competitors, the Omnium brings people together around fast racing, shared effort, and a love for the sport.

That’s why we’re especially excited to highlight Zealios, a brand many of our club members already know, trust, and use. If you’ve spent time riding, racing, or training with us, you’ve probably seen Zealios sunscreen in jersey pockets, gym bags, and gear bins. It’s a favorite because it’s practical, reliable, and built for athletes who spend long days outside.

This year, Zealios is stepping up to support the Berkeley Omnium by providing limited-supply sunscreen for podium giveaways. Not every podium will receive it, but that makes it even more meaningful—race-day rewards from a brand that genuinely understands what cyclists need.
