Thank You for Showing Up: Berkeley Hills Road Race
Thank you to everyone who came out to the Berkeley Hills Road Race.
From racers to volunteers to supporters on the side of the road, this day doesn’t happen without all of you. What we saw out there wasn’t just a race. It was a community showing up.
A Special Day in the Berkeley Hills
The Berkeley Hills Road Race has a long history, and every year we try to build on that and make it better and more meaningful for everyone involved.
This year delivered.
Full fields, strong competition, and riders pushing themselves on one of the most iconic courses in NorCal.
And you all showed up ready.
Racing That Delivered
From the first wave rolling out to the final finishers, the energy was there.
Full novice fields; it means the sport is growing
Strong P/1/2 racing with deep competition
Masters, Elite, and juniors all taking on the challenge
Every category brought something to the table. Breakaways, regrouping, all-out efforts on the climbs.
Volunteers Made It Happen
Let’s be clear, this event runs on volunteers.
Course marshals are out there keeping things controlled.
Registration teams are getting everyone checked in early morning.
Follow cars, moto support, and setup and teardown crews.
Result teams are entering the results.
Early call times. Long hours. Real responsibility.
Volunteers are the backbone of this race. Without them, there is no Berkeley Hills Road Race.
Built for Something Bigger
Berkeley Omnium is a nonprofit effort, and every dollar goes back to supporting six East Bay high school NICA teams. That’s the bigger picture that supports the next generation of riders.
When you showed up to race, volunteer, or support, you were part of that.
Thank You
To everyone who came out, thank you.
Thank you for racing hard.
Thank you for supporting the event.
Thank you for being part of this community.
