Monarch is a women's elite team based here in the East Bay, started by Helen Gilbert-Snyder. They're working hard to create great racing opportunities for the team as well as actively giving back to the younger generation by mentoring young athletes at the Grasshopper Adventure Series, and putting on road riding clinics for young female athletes. The work they're doing is great, and the people involved are really special.
