Looking to add some diversity to your long weekend rides? Come join the Saturday Marin Ride, where the routes change every week, sometimes flatter and faster, sometimes more challenging, and the typical distance is 55 to 65 miles from Point Richmond. Learn More

What: This week we'll be riding an Olema to Muir Woods Loop.  From Point Richmond, the route is ~71 miles with ~4800 ft of climbing. We'll head across the RSR Bridge and then west through San Rafael and Fairfax to Sir Francis Drake. We'll stay on SFD all the way to Olema before turning south on Hwy 1 until we make a left on Muir Woods Rd and climb up to Panoramic. We'll descend into Mill Valley before winding back through Larkspur and back over the RSR. Coffee stop will be at Parkside Cafe in Stinson Beach around mile 43.5. Regroups will most likely be at Larkspur, Fairfax, Olema, Coffee, and Mill Valley. Ride pace for A group will be 15-17 mph average with faster bursts on some sections and for B group will be 13-15 mph average and C group will be 12-14 mph and you should be comfortable with group riding and have read and be familiar the BBC Group Ride Guidelines. Ride leaders will be Morgan Griffin (A) and TBD (B) and Kim Pham (C) this week.

Where/When: Meeting this Saturday at 8:45am outside Maya Taqueria at Pt Richmond (plenty of parking available if you're driving). We'll roll from Point Richmond at 9am sharp. C group will depart 5 minutes after and groups and will have its own regroups along the route.

Who: You! This ride is aimed at riders who are comfortable with group riding and able to stay with the group of their choice at the ride pace.
