Marin Ride - Saturday July 8th - 8:45am meetup, 9am roll time
What: This week we’ll be riding an Alpine Dam - Seven Sisters - Paradise Loop by heading out over the RSR Bridge heading west on the bike path up through Ross to Fairfax before turning up Bolinas Rd to Alpine Dam, then up to Ridgecrest, across Seven Sisters and down through Mill Vally before finishing with a Paradise Loop. Coffee stop will be at Equator in Mill Valley! From Point Richmond, the route is ~66 miles with ~4800 ft of climbing. We’ll regroup at Greenbrae (Hal Brown Park bathrooms off Bon Air), Alpine Dam, Mill Valley (Equator), and Tiburon. Ride pace for A group will be 15-17 mph average with faster bursts on some sections and for B group will be 13-15 mph average and C group will be 12-14 mph and you should be comfortable with group riding and have read and be familiar the BBC Group Ride Guidelines. Ride leaders will be Morgan Griffin (A), TBD (B), and Brooke Angel (C) this week.
Where/When: Meeting this Saturday at 8:45am outside Maya Taqueria at Pt Richmond (plenty of parking available if you’re driving). We’ll roll from Point Richmond at 9am sharp. C group will depart 5 minutes after A and B groups and will have its own regroups along the route.
