Looking for a social ride and an easy spin before a long weekend ride? Come join the Friday Coffee Ride (FCR), where we climb Tunnel and descend Shepherd Canyon riding back through Montclair before stopping for coffee at in Elmwood.
Rules:
- If you show up and this is your first group ride with the club, coffee is on the ride leader!
- We don't climb the Tunnel in less than 20 minutes.
- If you break the KOM/QOM for the official FCR segment, you buy coffee for everyone on the next FCR you join.

- Pace: We climb Tunnel as slow as the slowest rider in a given week and often put in one effort on the Roanoke climb.

Route is ~13 miles w/ ~1400 ft of climbing. For those who enjoy it, we usually add in a Roanoke climb for funsies. This is a no-drop, endurance pace ride, great for beginners to the morning ride scene.
A steady paced cruise across the Richmond bridge and into Marin County. Good views and coffee stop guaranteed! This ride is aimed at those ready to progress beyond our introductory ride, but not quite ready to join some of our more advanced rides. Also good for those just looking for a relaxed, relatively flat ride. If you are new to group riding or unsure of your fitness level, we encourage you to join our introductory ride on the first Sunday of the month.
