At Berkeley Omnium, our goal has always been bigger than just putting on great races. We believe in growing the sport, strengthening the community, and making bike racing more accessible to everyone.

Last year, we took an important step by offering a 50% registration discount for women, helping lower the barrier to entry and encouraging more riders to give racing a try. The response was incredibly positive, and it reinforced something we strongly believe:

A More Focused Approach for 2026

For the 2026 season, we’re continuing that commitment with a more targeted initiative designed to support first-time women racers and the people who help bring them into the sport.

For Berkeley Omnium 2026, we’re offering a 50% registration discount for:

• Any woman racing Berkeley Omnium for the first time

• Any rider (of any gender) who brings a new woman racer to our event

This approach recognizes two important truths:

• Taking the leap into your first race can feel intimidating

• Having someone encourage you, answer questions, and line up with you makes all the difference

3. We’ll create an individual 50% discount code for your registration(s)
