Registration Transfers Are Here for Berkeley Omnium 2026

One of the most common things we hear from racers is this:

“I want to register early, but I’m not sure what my schedule will look like yet.”

We get it. Life changes. Work schedules shift. Travel plans come up. And sometimes those unknowns make it harder to commit early even when you really want to race.

For Berkeley Omnium 2026, we’re excited to allow registration transfer to make early commitment to be easier and more flexible:

Registration Transfers Are Now Allowed

This year, Berkeley Omnium will allow registration transfers.

That means if you register early and later find out you can’t race, you’ll have the option to transfer your registration to another rider. Our goal is simple: give racers more confidence to commit early while still offering flexibility when plans change.

Why We’re Doing This

Early registration is incredibly important for putting on a high-quality race weekend. It helps us:

  • Plan safer and smoother race operations

  • Allocate resources more effectively

  • Secure permits, staffing, and logistics earlier

  • Continue investing in prize lists, juniors, and women’s racing

At the same time, we want to acknowledge the reality that committing months in advance isn’t always easy. Allowing transfers bridges that gap supporting racers while helping the event succeed.

Early Registration Perks, With Less Risk

By allowing transfers, you can now:

  • Secure your spot on the start line

  • You’ll be able to transfer or sell your registration if your plans change.

We believe this creates a win–win: racers get flexibility, and the event gets the early commitment it needs to keep improving year after year.
