Wheel Kids Bringing the Energy to Berkeley Omnium

We’re excited to welcome Wheel Kids to the 2026 Berkeley Omnium at the Berkeley Streets Race on April 19, 2026, held at Ohlone Park (McGee Ave & Hearst Ave, Berkeley) — bringing even more energy to an already stacked weekend.

Wheel Kids has been doing incredible work getting more kids on bikes and building a strong, inclusive cycling community. Having them out at Berkeley Omnium is exactly what this event is about growing the next generation and making cycling accessible to everyone.

Kids Race & Clinic

We’ll also have a kids’ skills clinic and race hosted by Trek — a perfect way to get young riders involved, build confidence, and have fun on the bike.

Stay Hydrated

They’ll also be setting up a water dispenser with ice-cold water to help keep bottles full and riders hydrated throughout the day.

Whether you’re racing, volunteering, or just hanging out swing by and top off.
